Part 1 are the activities done in TownSend Press. This week, you have been assigned chapter 8. You must score a minimum of 50% in the multiple choice activities, for it to be considered complete. If your grade is less than 50%, you can do it again. Please remember that as an instructor I can see how much time you spend on each activity. The activities are due on Mondays at 9:00am. For this week, complete the following activities from chapter 8:

Part 2 is a writing assignment where you will include at least 3 of the new vocabulary words from chapter 8 You can also select words from chapter 12 if needed. Your paragraph should be at least five sentences long. Pay attention to grammar, punctuation, and overall clarity. At the bottom of your paragraph, please tell me which 3 words you used.

ReplyDeleteI'm having a great time here in New York. The weather is wonderful. We are doing diversity of activities here. After lunch we usually go for a drive or go for shopping. The food is great and the cost is moderate. The hotel is new and also compensate its employees very well. Dad loved this place and it is inhibiting us to come back from here. We have tentative plans to visit as many places as possible. Tomorrow we're going to watch a show at a theater.

ReplyDeleteI derived a huge profit in my business few months ago. After inhibiting for a long time i finally went on a vacation to diverse places. One of the places I went was Maldives. I would like to verify if you have been here. The beaches, food and weather is not moderate. Though I did not stay more than two days but I would like to supplement such tiny trips every few months as it compensates for all my hard-work. I would like to derive a job as Tourist as it as a lot of scope to surpass my monotonous business schedule.

ReplyDeleteHow you doin? I am in Houston and enjoying my vacation by visiting places here. Houston has moderate climate conditions. I went to galleria mall. it is conceived as one of the biggest malls in US. It has diverse food in stalls and lots of stores for clothing and accessories. I derived fun from snow skating. I took photographs, am sending to you, so you can inspect them and postpone your vacation to India and come here, so we can supplement our vacation by visiting nearby places . Let me know early, so we can tentatively make arrangements.

ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well. I was trying to write you from couple of weeks but my hectic schedule was inhibiting me from doing so. But now i am on my vacation enjoying here in Austin.
This city is alive with energy and rich in diversity. This is the most popular and beautifull city of state and its scenic views are supplement to its beauty.All of the cost is compensated by the amount of mental peace we get during this vacation. Weather is moderate here best time to visit before winters and i am enjoying alot. I have applied for leave extension but waiting for verification from HR so my return date is tentative. I will write again to you with the pictures i have taken here till then take care.

ReplyDeleteI hope you are well. I am writing to you from Venice, Italy. I took a well-deserved vacation as compensation for my hard work at the company. I am happy because my accommodation in the hotel surpass all my expectations in comfort and food. On the other hand, my return home is tentative because I had some setbacks in the arrival of my luggage so I have inhibit myself for a while longer in the city and verify my ticket with the airline. Despite that, the city is wonderful and has a diversity of colors on its roads and houses, I also ate a delicious pizza and coffee italian. Tomorrow I plan to ride a Gondola and take lots of photos to send you. I hope to see you soon and to be able to travel together next time.

ReplyDeleteYou won’t believe this but last month I have been to Greece with my family and it’s great!
There is diversity in activities and sightseeing, so you need to plan very carefully to see everything. I needed this trip to compensate the last two years of not traveling anywhere because of Covid restrictions. In Greece there is history and museum mainly located in Athens where you can visit and learn about it. In addition, you can make this trip perfect by supplementing the journey and visit different Island such as Mykonos and Santorini.
